Running a business can be a complex operation, there are a number of things to consider and many decisions to make at any one time. There are lots of different ways to think about the tasks that lie ahead within your business and we have tried to simplify that process into 3 clear categories. Our plan, process and review model will help you compartmentalise some of the processes and tasks that needs to happen around your business, ultimately any task that you undertake can be covered in these three categories.
This model is circular with a number of feedback loops that will impact on which stage your business or your business decision making process is in; there will always be an element of Planning that we need to do, from there we must then run our business via Processes, following certain periods of time, whether that be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually we need to review what has happened and how we might affect change, or maintain consistency moving forwards.
Within these resources there are models, diagrams, templates, and examples that you can download and use throughout each of the stages of your business.
Your business will never truly be in just one of these stages, there will be tasks and periods where you may be planning in one part of your business, whilst implementing processes within another, and reviewing all at the same time, this complexity is the sole driver to why we need a simplified structure to help guide us through each of these stages.
